Tuesday, Sept. 23rd

We packed up the family and headed up to Rocky Moutain National Park.
We hiked up to Alberta Falls.
It was a great hike. Not too short or too long.
There were waterfalls, rapids, huge boulders, amazing views, and golden Aspen groves.
We picniced beside the waterfalls.

I love Colorado!

Monday, Sept. 23, Bear Lake

We made it to Colorado safe and sound.

We woke up very early. 4:30am.
Bundled the boys up in their winter coats and hats.
Loaded up the car, and headed up to Bear Lake.
I love Bear Lake. It's so beautiful up there, and it holds many good memories for me.
William didn't quite know what to think about hiking around the lake in the dark. But he quickly got used to it.
I forgot to pack my tripod, so i was stuck propping the camera on rocks or tree trunks to get the shots of the sunrise. I had to contort my body to get 'the shot.'

Colorado is just beautiful this time of year. The aspen trees were all starting to turn GOLDEN!

After a few hours of playing with all of the kids, we decided to take the kids to Trail Ridge Road. The kids got to see what it is like up in the tundra, and above the tree line.

We saw snow, tundra, elk, and golden aspen.

Sunday, Sept. 21, On the Road

I got the car all packed and loaded.

The family squeezed into my little car, and headed West, before the sunrise.

We were on our way to Colorado.

Yep, another Family vacation.

I love building happy memories with the kids and family.

phew!

We just got back from a great trip with the family.
We went to Colorado.
Where my spirit soars.

I am in the process of uploading the photos from the trip.

Peace and Love!
